Rationale:

Addressing the nutritional needs of underprivileged children by providing access to seasonal fruits. Community Engagement:  Encouraging community participation and support through volunteer donations and contributions from fruit vendors.

 Objective:

Provide Nutritious Fruits:  Distribute a variety of seasonal fruits to underprivileged children to enhance their nutritional intake. Promote Community Involvement:  Engage volunteers and fruit vendors in the initiative, fostering a spirit of giving and community support. Celebrate Local Produce:  Highlight the importance of native fruits and promote their consumption among children.

 Activities:

Fruit Collection:  Collect native fruits through volunteer donations, contributions from fruit vendors, and donations from community members who have fruit trees.

Distribution Events:  Organize events in 28 districts during the summer season to distribute the collected fruits to underprivileged children.

Volunteer Participation:  Involve volunteers in the collection, organization, and distribution processes, ensuring a community-driven approach.

Awareness Campaigns:  Educate children and their families about the nutritional benefits of seasonal fruits and the importance of a balanced diet.

 Impact:

Through this initiative, Lal Sabuj Society engages approximately 20,000 people each year, making a significant impact on the nutritional well-being of underprivileged children. By providing access to a variety of seasonal fruits, the initiative helps improve the nutritional status of children in the participating districts. The initiative fosters a strong sense of community involvement and support, encouraging people to contribute and help those in need.
