Aimed at developing a dedicated group of volunteers capable of responding quickly to emergencies such as fires and natural disasters and strengthening local disaster preparedness, the ‘Volunteer Refresher Course-2025’ was held in Lalmonirhat.

This full-day specialized training program was jointly organized by the Lalmonirhat Fire Service & Civil Defence and Lal Sabuj Society.

The intensive workshop took place on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lalmonirhat Fire Service & Civil Defence Station. A total of 25 enthusiastic young volunteers, including the Lalmonirhat district team of Lal Sabuj Society, actively participated.

The training was entirely hands-on and practical. Participants received detailed instruction on modern firefighting techniques, emergency response, rapid and effective rescue operations and immediate actions to take during disasters. Experienced instructors from the Fire Service assessed the volunteers’ skills through direct field exercises.
