On 6 February, a leadership training program, ‘Learn to Lead’, was held in Dhaka with the aim of developing leadership skills among youth. The program was organized by the Dhaka team of Lal Sabuj Society. Conducted for female participants in Dhaka, a total of 40 youth from various areas of the district took part in the event.

During the day-long training, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of leadership, sense of responsibility, decision-making skills, and the importance of teamwork. In addition, discussions and practical activities were conducted to help enhance their leadership abilities and critical thinking.

Speakers at the training emphasized that being a good leader requires not only the mindset to lead but also responsibility, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. They noted that such training programs play a vital role in guiding youth toward conscious and ethical leadership.

The organizers stated that young people play a crucial role in today’s society. With proper guidance and skill development, they can become a driving force for positive social change. With this goal in mind, Lal Sabuj Society regularly organizes various skill development programs for youth.

Participants expressed that the training helped them discover their own leadership potential and inspired them to contribute positively to their educational institutions, communities, and workplaces in the future.

Both organizers and participants consider the ‘Learn to Lead’ training program a successful initiative in promoting responsible, conscious, and proactive leadership among youth.
