
A one-day training workshop titled “Digital Storytelling Workshop for Young Women” was held in Dhaka to promote women’s rights, voices and stories through digital media. The workshop took place on Friday, 17 October, at the Manusher Jonno Foundation auditorium in Mirpur-2.
The initiative was jointly organized by Lal Shobuj Society and Foundation for Women Possibilities. Young participants from different parts of the country attended the workshop, all eager to tell stories of social change through digital media.
During the workshop, participants gained practical knowledge on digital storytelling techniques, content planning, video scriptwriting and creating stories focused on women’s rights. The program included learning sessions, discussions, group activities and video presentations.
The one-day workshop also provided refreshments, lunch, certificates and mementos for the participants. In addition, it offered an opportunity for young women to build friendships and networks with their peers.
