A dialogue on child protection was held in Koyra, Khulna. The event took place on Thursday, October 23, at 10 a.m. in the conference room of the Upazila Parishad. It was organized by Lal Sabuj Society in collaboration with Manusher Jonno Foundation.

The session was presided over by Mr. Tanvir Hasan Anan, Project Manager of Lal Sabuj Society. The Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Mr. Abdullah Al Baki, attended the event as the chief guest. Among the special guests were Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, Upazila Primary Education Officer Mr. Abdul Halim, Assistant Education Officer Mr. Anwar Hossain, Jayanta Chandra Saha and journalist Masum Billah.

Speakers at the dialogue emphasized the importance of joint efforts by families, society and schools in ensuring child protection. They noted that active participation of parents and the community is essential to safeguard children’s rights.

Senior member of Lal Sabuj Society Mr. Uday Ahmed, Firefighter Mizanur Rahman from Koyra Fire Service, theatre artist Tajbir from Koyra Theatre, President of Swapnobaj Foundation Mr. Masudur Rahman, along with teachers, students, local administration officials, journalists, NGO representatives and various social activists were present at the event.
