To ensure a safe and protective environment for children in Patuakhali and Khulna districts, Lal Sabuj Society successfully implemented child protection activities under the SAFE Project. With support from Manusher Jonno Foundation, the initiative covered a total of 18 educational institutions through awareness sessions, quarterly meetings, child protection fairs and consultation meetings with government officials.

In Patuakhali district, activities were carried out in nine institutions, including Chalitabunia Government Primary School, Ballavpur Hossainia Dakhil Madrasa, Dibuapur Model Government Primary School, Hajikhali Digital Smart School and College, and several others.

Similarly, in Koyra upazila of Khulna district, sessions were conducted in nine schools, including Bedkashi Habibia Dakhil Madrasa, Gazipara Government Primary School and Bedkashi Binapani Government Primary School, among others.

During the sessions, students learned to identify unsafe touch, use the National Child Helpline 1098 and understand their rights through stories and discussions. Each session concluded with the distribution of nutritious food among the students.

Through the SAFE Project, Lal Sabuj Society has played a vital role in promoting child safety, rights, and mental well-being across 18 schools in Patuakhali and Khulna districts.
