From 8 August to 22 August 2026, Lal Sabuj Society, in collaboration with Foundation for Women Possibilities (FWP), organized a free one-to-one mental health counselling initiative for 25 female students of Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh.
The counselling sessions were conducted by an experienced psychologist, who provided individualized support and guidance to the participating students in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment.
The sessions focused on various aspects of mental health and well-being, including academic pressure, stress, anxiety, personal concerns, emotional well-being, and self-care. Through one-to-one counselling, each participant had the opportunity to discuss her concerns privately and receive professional guidance based on her individual needs.
The initiative aimed to promote awareness about mental health among young women and encourage students to seek professional support when facing emotional or psychological challenges. The sessions also helped participants develop a better understanding of self-care, emotional resilience, and the importance of maintaining good mental well-being.
A total of 25 female students benefited from the free individual counselling sessions conducted by the experienced psychologist.
Through this initiative, Lal Sabuj Society continues to promote accessible mental health support and contribute to creating a healthier and more supportive environment for young people.
