About Md. Hanif
Background: Md. Hanif was born and grew up in Mehendiganj which is an island upazila of Bangladesh. In the Lal Sabuj Society, Hanif serves as the Coordinator of the Mehendiganj Upazila team. Hanif has been involved with the Lal Sabuj Society since 2021.
Inspiration for Volunteer Work: Hanif has always had a passion for giving back to the community and making a positive impact in people’s lives. Witnessing the struggles of others motivated him to volunteer and contribute to meaningful causes.
Motivation for Joining: The Lal Sabuj Society’s commitment to engaging and empowering youth in voluntary work and promoting positive social change in Bangladesh deeply resonated with Hanif. He wanted to be part of an organization that actively works towards creating a sustainable future.
Memorable Projects: One of the most memorable projects Hanif has been involved in was the Barisal Children’s Climate Summit 2023. It was rewarding for him to see school students learning about climate change.
Skills and Experience: Through his involvement with the Lal Sabuj Society, Hanif has developed strong skills in leadership, communication, teamwork and project management. He has also gained valuable insights into mental health, climate action and other areas.
Enjoyment of Volunteering: What Hanif enjoys most about volunteering with the Lal Sabuj Society is the opportunity to collaborate with passionate individuals who share a common dedication to making a difference. The sense of fulfillment from contributing to meaningful projects is incredibly rewarding for him.
Personal Goals for the Future: Within the Lal Sabuj Society, Hanif’s goal is to contribute to expanding the organization’s outreach programs and enhancing its impact on the community. Outside the organization, he aims to further develop his skills in climate action, mental health and other fields to better support their initiatives and broaden his personal growth.
