
About Md. Ashikul Islam
Background: Ashikul began his journey in 2021 as a volunteer in Dinajpur. He was inspired by his mother’s dedication to helping others. Over the years, his hard work and passion for social change led him to become a National Volunteer Coordinator Associate. He now serves as a Research Associate at Lal Sabuj Society. There, he focuses on making a positive impact in society through active involvement in various projects.
Inspiration for Volunteer Work: His biggest inspiration came from his mother. Her selfless commitment to helping others motivated him to follow the same path. He believes that every small act of kindness helps build a better world and that true change begins with empathy and service.
Memorable Project: One of his favorite and most memorable projects is Shobuj Pathshala, a program that provided education to underprivileged children. This initiative allowed him to connect deeply with children, understand their struggles, and see how education can change lives.
Skills and Experience: Through his volunteering and professional journey, Ashikul has developed strong skills in research, leadership, communication, and advocacy. His experience includes organizing programs, coordinating projects, and raising awareness about important social issues such as women’s empowerment, children’s rights, and environmental protection.
Enjoyment of Volunteering: For Ashikul, volunteering is more than just service; it’s about sharing trust, friendship, and dreams with others. He finds joy in helping people, building meaningful relationships, and working toward goals that benefit society.
Personal Goals for the Future: Looking ahead, Ashikul hopes to turn Lal Sabuj Society into an international NGO that creates opportunities for disadvantaged people across borders. Beyond his social work, he also dreams of building a career in fashion modeling. He wants to combine his passion with purpose to inspire others and promote confidence, creativity, and compassion.
