About Falguni Reza
Falguni Reza is an accomplished development expert with over 10 years of experience in leading multi-year research and development projects focused on gender, youth, social accountability, disability rights, and climate justice. Her leadership has guided projects totaling over USD 2.5 million, with funding from notable international organizations like the World Bank, NED, NDI, GPE, GIZ, and FCDO. Her work also encompasses strategic leadership in action research, project management, result frameworks, MEAL, fundraising, and compliance.
Falguni has been instrumental in establishing Youth for Policy, Bangladesh’s first youth network on public policy advocacy, engaging volunteers in 40 districts. She has demonstrated exceptional collaboration skills with government stakeholders, MPs, CSOs, and international experts, making significant contributions to initiatives surrounding electoral violence, gender equality, good governance and social accountability.
She holds a Master of Development Studies from BRAC University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Fluent in both English and Bangla, she has an intermediate command of French. As a feminist leader, Falguni integrates a gender-equitable approach into her work, ensuring that marginalized voices, including women, youth, and disabled communities, are represented in policy advocacy and public discourse.
